MacOS Big Sur Beta 3 Keyboard Backlight Dim!

I just did the update to Big Sur Beta 3 (20A5323l) and my keyboard brightness doesn't change at all after the very first dot when you turn up the brightness. Hoping I don't have to wait for a month without a fix!
I'm using a MacBook Pro 13" 2019, Intel i5 1.4GHz

I'm having this same issue. I've responded to a view other users in the MacOSBeta sub on Reddit with the same issue as well. Resetting the SMC & NVRAM has no effect. My lighting is stuck on brightness level 1 and does not increase when pressing F6.

Still no fix yet.

I commented in another post, but yeah, same thing here. The brightness does not go above 1. I can turn it down to off, but soon as I go the other direction, the first increment turns it on to low, and then ticking it up additional increments has no effect. It just stays dim. I had no idea how annoying this would be!

I have the same issue. I thought it was just my computer. I was kind of scared.

I am on the same beta on a MBA 2015, tried clean installing as well, but keyboard and trackpad do not work.

External keyboards and mice work, and if I close the lid and then open the lid, the keyboard backlight turns on.

I am able to use the inbuilt keyboard to enter recovery mode.

Yaaaaay! It is fixed in the beta 4 release!!! (That was driving me nuts!)
