MacOS Beta 3 not installing, even after the installation process

I downloaded the MacOS Big Sur Beta 3. After downloading it, I attempted to install it. The installer popped up, I went through the prompts, and my Mac then restarted and went through the installation process with the black screen and the Apple logo. This took about 30 minutes. However, once my Mac booted up after the installation process, I realized that it was still on beta 2. Because of this, I went through the installation process once again, but it is still stuck on beta 2, even though it went through the installation process twice without any error messages. I'm not sure what to do to make it successfully install beta 3. Any thoughts? Thank you!

Update: I booted into recovery mood and downloaded/installed the MacOS Beta from there. The only issue with that is that I didn't want to have to wipe my entire device either, so I had to delete files and applications to get enough storage to be able to completely download the OS (around 40 Gb). Once I was able to do that though, the beta downloaded and installed perfectly.
I'm also experiencing the same issue as well.

Mac mini 2018.
Same here!
same here mac mini 2018...even tried command line install, goes through the motions, reboots and i'm still on beta 2....
There's several other threads on this. including this one:

It's a "Known Issue" in release notes.
Workaround. download the full 12.88GB "update" and use the createinstallmedia command to install it on a bootable usb drive/stick, then reboot from the stick by holding Option down on startup, and choose the "Install macOS Big Sur" volume.

Make sure you have at least 36GB free on your main volume to install it.
