App Store Connect Operation Error - Could not find or load main class

Anyone have a fix for this App Store Connect Error?

Could not find or load main class 2.app.Contents.SharedFrameworks.ContentDeliveryServices.framework.Versions.A.itms.macOS.lib:.Users.JohnSmith.Library.Java.Extensions:.Library.Java.Extensions:.Network.Library.Java.Extensions:.System.Library.Java.Extensions:.usr.lib.java:.

I've attempted to reinstall java, downgrade from Version 12.0 beta 2 (12A6163b) to Xcode 12.0 beta. Tried uploading previously passing archieves with different version number. Nothing seems to rid me of this error.

I can confirm ggoodwin's answer is correct.

FIX: rename the application package back to "Xcode" if you changed it to something like "Xcode beta 3"
Same issue and it just started today. I was able to successfully upload an archive yesterday by building in Xcode 11 and uploading using 12.2 but today every combination I've tried fails as well.
I believe the issue has to do with renaming the application package for Xcode. I'm needing to run Xcode 11 and 12 beta. I moved Xcode 12 beta into my applications directory and renamed it to avoid overwriting Xcode 11. After moving Xcode 12 beta back to downloads and renaming it back to "Xcode" all works again.
I'm seeing the same issue. Have not been able to solve yet.

The same code base worked fine with xcode 11.6
Not a fix, but a workaround.

Here's what worked for me:
I archived my app with Xcode 12 beta 2
closed Xcode 12,
opened Xcode 11.5
opened the Organizer, which already had the Archive from 12b2 and continued on from there.

"Distribute App" successfully uploaded to the App Store.

Confirming that renaming the beta 5 binary from 'XCode-beta-5' to 'Xcode' fixed this issue.
Same issue, and yes, it was fixed by renaming the application binary from "Xcode-beta-5" to Xcode as posted by others. Thank you! This was a minor lifesaver. Without this, I was exporting the binary, airdropping it to my other mac, and using "Apple Transport" to get the binary into App Store Connect(!)
If you have multiple version of xcode on your system, Delete older versions and please check your xcode application name. Then clean your project and archive again. Issue will be resolve
Hey Apple - what the HELL are you doing about this?? There are literally hundreds of developers and businesses now stuck in your broken ecosystem. ????
I have been having this issued for 2 days. I have tried everything listed, but I have only one version of Xcode, which is 12.4. I restarted everything, updated to Big Sur, changed network settings, logged out and back into Xcode, unchecked the box to send info to Apple. I am unable to upload my app update.

The last time I used Xcode was about a year ago, with no problems.
I have an alternate solution for others having a similar error here:
