I got the update for Big Sur Beta 2 but it will start the download and the error dialog indicates it can't download the update.
So, I pop open the terminal and run softwareupdate -d -a to try it from the terminal and I get an helpful error. Specifically it reports that that "Current device configuration requires an alternate installer to perform the update." Later in the terminal error dialog it also reports Error Code=6 "The volume can not be used because it is not snapshot booted."
Has anyone else come across this issue with Beta 2?
