Developer Transition Kit Fee

Read on AppleInsider that the fee would be converted after the transition into an Apple Store voucher that can be used to buy a new Mac.
Sounds good, but I don't see this mentioned in the program, the agreement or anywhere else.

Is the fee going to be converted after the transition? If yes, full or partially?

We don't know. I believe in previous transitions, they waited until it was time to ship back the kit to share what would happen; and both times in the past you got a voucher, so many of us are assuming they will do so again, but nothing is guaranteed.

The assumption is that there will be some sort of voucher once the DTK program ends. However, it is only speculation at this time, and there is no agreement on whether it would be a partial voucher towards the retail price of a new Mac or an outright voucher for a new Mac.

here we are 11 months later and still nothing. I gave away my old MBP in the hopes I would be getting an ARM based laptop.
