What does the sidebar look like in Portrait?

In the session "Designing for the iPad" all the demo videos and screenshots show the iPad in Landscape. What does the sidebar look like in Portrait mode? Does it overlap, like the split view, or resize the content view?

They said it switch to overlay in the portrait mode.
