When I installed this last night after about 20 minutes of 9.5gb out of 9.5gb the install started.
Same happened to me did not install after 2 hours and no progress bar movement. I just shut down the computer, re-started and then went to software update again, it recalled 8.5 GB of the previous download and then re-downloaded last 1.06 GB and installed fine.
for me the download is OK and i have 30gb of free space and it is saying that he needs about 20 Gb more of space to install ? any idea ?
did you find any solution for this. I am in same boat. Is there a way to download the macos bigsur offline download?
