I have installed the beta iOS 14 on my iPhone 6s and the battery drains pretty fast

I installed iOS 14 just a few days ago. It’s absolutely eating battery time alive. Went from 88%, down to 8%, in a little over 2 hours, with very little phone use. Battery health is still 100%. History is showing photos having the most battery usage, despite me closing that app out completely, along with all other apps. Apple needs to fix this ASAP
Today got the Public Beta 2 of iOS 14 and just after installing it, within 20 minutes battery dropped from 100% to 80%. As soon as I take it from the charger now, it drops immediately. Can not imagine it will be the indexer...
After upgrading to iOS 14, my iPhone 7Plus’s battery is draining so fast. I tried iOS 14 developer beta 14.2 but not working. Please fix it!!!
I’ve heard people saying this is normal whenever a new iOS is released, but I’ve had every single iPhone since the original came out in 07’, and I personally have only witnessed it once. Can’t remember which iOS it was, been many moons ago, but there was a bug in the original release, which drained the battery very quickly. Apple subsequently released the first patch, and it was cured. That was the ONLY time I’ve ever seen an issue like this, so I’d say it’s not normal, that there is a bug with the first version of 14, which will require a patch.
I’m having the same problem. Installed IOS 14 on max. 1st day battery drained. 2nd day restarted phone and turned off background apps. Battery drained. 3rd battery drained. Currently on 4th day restarted and battery still draining fast. This morning when I plugged it up battery percentage was 92...after charging for about 20 mins battery percentage 91...please fix this soon.

i am currently working in a covid ward as duty doctor, hav to update d reports freqntly.previoulsy if i take phone at 90%, by the time i return(by 6hours- it would hav come to 50-40%) but now its even cmng to 1% also.
after installing ios-14 its draining in such a way dat i shuld carry a power bank as a backup to charge my phone.

I have an iPhone 6s 128mb with a replaced battery. (Apple had a program where they offered a change of battery for the 6 model iPhones with known bad batteries for a lower cost) It was great as long as it lasted. Because now after installing iOS 14 it’s worse then it was before they changed the battery. Please fix this Apple, and don’t make me have to buy the latest phone in order to use your iOS. It’s not good for anyone. And also not for the environment. Hoping they will fix this soon!

iOS 14 public draining iphone x battery wicked fast. did not experience this with beta. can't even make 8 hours now. please fix!
Same issue with my iPhone X. Within 1.5hr of waking up and taking my phone off the charger my phone battery is at 50%. This was not an issue that happened slowly, it was as soon as I updated. Do better.
I’ve never had battery issues before. Phone won’t even hold a charge half the day after updating. Please release an update! Has anyone found anything that helps? Closing apps does nothing.
I have the IPhone 8 Plus and since I got the IOS 14 update my phone is dying so fast. I usually use my for phone hours at a time and before the update it would last me 10-12 hours without needing a charge before dying but since the update if I’m barely on my phone for 2 hours it goes for 100% to 30% or even lower. I now have to charge my phone 3 to 4 times a day instead of my usual 2. Please fix this Apple!!!
Iphone 8 Plus turned into trash can by iOS 14 update. More Garbage lets increase the price by 100%. Killing battery 5x faster since the upgrade.
Terrible battery life for my phone too! My iphone SE (new version) just lost 30% battery doing nothing last night, while my old iphone 6 without the update lost 1%. Apple! Hurry up to fix this!
My Iphone SE (1st gen) now doesn't work, it can't even be charged... RIP
