When I download the Beta profile for Mac, it only shows Catalina 10.15.6 Dev Beta 2 - do I need to install that before I will see Big Sur?

for the iOS 14 beta don't install the ipsw file with finder. it puts your phone into recovery mode and says it has encountered an error while updating.

Anyone having trouble with iOS 14 IPSW? For me, the one for the iPhone 6S says its not the correct firmware file. I guess maybe I should install Big Sur first?

Edit. I've seen the file size is not what it should be. I think it didn't completely download right.

I've been using it for a couple of hours now and it's hard to believe it is really a first beta version. For me, it's stable enable to use it as a daily driver, no problems so far. It's even faster than iOS 13...

I'll have to see how much the battery lasts but so far so good overall.

Hello, kpra, I usually delete the ”old“ xOS profiles first, before downloading and installing the new ones for the iOS/iPadOS 14 or watchOS 7 betas.

The new profiles should download and install properly then ;-)
