Guideline 5.5 - Mobile Device Management

Your app uses a mobile device management (MDM) profile but does not have MDM capability granted.

Next Steps

To resolve this issue, your Account Holder will need to request Mobile Device Management Capability.


My membership is Apple Developer Program - Organizations.

That means I cannot create any such MDM certificate or add any feature related to MDM capability to my App.

As I understand, MDM service need no xcode code setting, therefore I am confusing about this issus.


Moreover, the response from Apple for more explanation is :

Thank you for your response. Since your iTunes Connect status is Rejected, a new binary will be required. Make the desired metadata changes when you upload the new binary.

Hello, I have the same issue. My app is NOT use mobile device management (MDM) profile. Which project settings made them think that the application was using MDM ?
