Developer account payment failed

Hi,


I've been trying to create a developer account for 3 months now.

3 apple ids, 4 cards and 2 banks later, it still doesn't succeed.

Support is useless and so is my bank.

Does anyone here have a solution? Are you experiencing the same problem?

I'm from India.

I have had the same issue for payment failed. I have been trying to pay with different debit cards. My account has expired, how can I do?

Facing the same problem, tried with different debit cards and nothing... Have any of you guys find the solution?

Apple developer customer service are USELESSSS push the problem to another customer service . Waste my time and give me useless advice , called bank for many time and its say its apple problem . Common issue for apple but did not improve since many years ago ...... please ..... improve you have made so many ppl dislike you ....

Hello from Slovenia, After a little less then a month of going back and forth with apple support, trying different things and struggling with issues regarding buying the account, today i finally got it resolved. Here is the story:

At first i enrolled (tried to) through the web, I didn't even make it to the payment, I tried two different apple IDs, same thing. Then I reached out to support and they've said to enroll through the app. Again, couldn't even provide my ID images (unknown error occured) again, I reached out to support and they sent me a link to upload the IDs through the web. They manually authorized my ID and I was able to get to the payment stage. When I tried to pay, again: "Your purchase could not be completed, purchase failed an unknown error ocurred, etc. Again I reached out. Turns out the support made a typo in my surname, but still couldn't pay. Again I contacted support and they called me. Then they transfered me to Itunes support. I called them and we were on the call for 40min. They couldn't resolve it so they said the issue will be passed to higher developers or something and I had to wait for 24hrs and try again. I've waited and tried again and it worked.

So to sum it up:

  • Stick to one apple ID (probably the one You use most)
  • Use the same device for the whole enrolment process
  • use the apple developer app
  • keep contacting apple support as the problem is probably on their end
  • I also used Revolut for the payment
  • DONT GIVE UP, try everything, reset your iphone, remove all payment methods, add them back, try different ones, update the iphone and all apps...

Hi guys, had the similar problem. Finally, the solution for us was to use Credit Card instead of Debit Card. It may be your solution also. Good luck!

same problem from iraq 🇮🇶 i am trying to enroll to apple developer program from more than 5 months until now, I have tried everything, I used many bank cards, I made many apple id accounts, even i bought new device, and same problem, I spoke with support many times but they couldn't fix it.

Use a mac pc will be works i had the same. Problem 10 cards i already used. I was trying in Windows and Android i does not work. Then i tried in a mac pc it works fast

Hi! I also faced such issue and I tried several Visa cards from Central Asia, Canada and USA but with no success. I just messaged Apple Support and Support said that they face issues from payment from web and suggested to pay from Apple Developer app (before support chat I could not pay from app, because button was disabled). Then I checked the app and the button was active and I easily made a payment :)

I've struggled now for the past month. I eventually withdrew my enrolment and then did the whole process from start to finish on the Apple Developer app and IT WORKED!

My advice is to only work through the Apple Developer app. I hope it works for you too.

Facing the same issue. Money debited from the bank account, but Developer support keep saying they did not receive. Even when I contacted the bank, the bank sent confirmation email about payment, they keep saying they did not receive and no responsibility at all. The support is acting like they are like government officials.
