Speedtest.net results are slower on Catalina compared to Mojave. I've tested a number of locations using speedtest.net. The results are much lower compared to another Mac with Mojave connected the same way to the same router


i switched to catalina my speedtest are a lot slower than mojave!

I have fiber optic 1GB / 1GB with mojave I have 900/950 and with catalina 250/875 (same server)



Is there a solution?

I have a Imac 27 "late 2015

What is the problem that you are looking to solve?? A web based tool on two different machines with two different kernels and configs are giving two different results. Are you trying to find an explanation? Or is there an actual difference in max throughput?

I'm getting the same speeds as I was with Mojave - about 940Mb/s. Perhaps something else has changed in your setup?

I misspoke !
I meant that the speedtest Ok with safari but 50% slower with google chrome! A reason ?
