"Update not found"

I'm not being able to install the 10.15 beta. When I install the Beta Access Utility it opens System Preferences and acts like it's checking for a software update, but then says "The requested version of macOS is not available." Anybody running into this?

Same issue here. I am on a 2013 MacBook Pro, built with the maximal hardware specs at the time. After successfully installing the "macOSPublicBetaAccessUtility.dmg" from beta.apple.com, and then upon entering "Software Update" from the main Settings app, the text cleary states "Your mac is up to date — macOS Mojave 10.14.6". I have unchecked "Automatically keep my Mac up to date"; uncheced "check for updates" in the "Advanced..." section; rebooted; uninstalled the beta profile; reinstalled the beta profile; restarted my MacBook three times; re-checked "Automatically keep my Mac up to date". Nothing has worked.

EDIT: Okay, I may have found the problem. Go to StackExchange and see this forum post about the same issue occuring a couple beta versions back: https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/364435/cannot-install-macos-beta-version-on-macbook-pro-july-2019

The few people who replied to the thread had the same issue we're having, but after 3-4 days, the update suddenly became available for them. And so, I bet that in a couple days, we will get a notification saying the public beta 5 is available to install.

sama, mid 2012 pro 13. 10.14.6

I had the same problem when running Developer Beta Access Utility (macOSDeveloperBetaAccessUtility.dmg) via the Developer Beta program

I was on MacOS Catalina Beta 1 and couldn't upgrade to 5 as it always told me "The requested version of macOS is not available."

I finally managed to get it working by going to the Public Beta site (beta.apple.com) and installing the Public Beta Access Utility (macOSPublicBetaAccessUtility.dmg)

It started downloading and installed successfully Beta 5

I allready use: "macOSPublicBetaAccessUtility.dmg" but get the same error message. I'm on mojave 10.14.6.

Allthough it states in the software update panel that my mac is "registered to the beta access program" Catalina is not found when it searches for updates.

Same here, have you managed in some way to install it ?

This link helped to install via App Store for mac.

Catalina Link to App Store

I had the same problem of all of you,

in the link below there is the solution that worked for me. ✅

https://www.reddit.com/r/MacOSBeta/comments/clb8at/the_requested_version_of_macos_is_not_available/

No, I contacted apple developer support last saturday. Waiting for a reply

Does not work for me, when I click "Download" the same update window opens with the warning popup "The requested version of macOS is not available."

Still getting the same error even with this link. Now I can see it, but it is not downloading. Thanks for the link anyway

I just went through the exact same nightmare thinking it was something with my machine. What is going on!

It worked for me:

- set the CatalogURL for 10.15 Beta:

sudo /usr/sbin/softwareupdate --set-catalog https://swscan.apple.com/content/catalogs/others/index-10.15seed-10.15-10.14-10.13-10.12-10.11-10.10-10.9-mountainlion-lion-snowleopard-leopard.merged-1.sucatalog.gz

- create /Users/Shared/.SeedEnrollment.plist with this content:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">

<plist version="1.0">

<dict>

<key>SeedProgram</key>

<string>DeveloperSeed</string>

</dict>

</plist>
