Apps "In Review" for long time

I used to submit games and they were reviewed within a week's time till mid-2018 but since September, my games keep going to "In Review" status and stay in that status for ever.


I did try to cancel the submission and re-submit it, but every time, it goes to "In Review" within 24 hours and stays in same status for weeks. Its been at-least a month for 1 of my app and almost 3 weeks for another.

Hello Our application is also very long on the test. We have not been able to update the application for about a month, all problems have been resolved. Our App ID is 751313895 Could you please help speed up the check?  @Andreas @AppReview

We have the same problem. On 11/03/2022, our app was sent for review. The application is in the "Under review" status from 11/03/2022 to the present day (07/12/2022). It's over four weeks. We wrote to support, but they answered us: "When your app’s review is complete, you will be notified by email" We made new builds and uploaded them, removed the application from the test, resubmitted it for review - nothing helps! What else can we do?

I firstly submitted my app to both App Store and Mac App Store (MAS) on 2022/10/19.

The MAS submission was first rejected on 10/20 with the reason "We need additional time to evaluate your submission and Apple Developer Program account." However, the App Store submission was accepted on 10/22.

I kept resolving the MAS submission issue and resubmitting several times and I also filed a review inquiry Apple Developer Contact Us page, but I just got the same reject reason. An MAS submission on 11/18 was rejected on 12/10, but fortunately in this time, the reject reason is not "We need additional time ..." anymore! Then, I resolved and submitted an MAS again on 12/10. Finally, my MAS submission was accepted on 12/13😊 It takes almost 2 months to accept my MAS submission.

Hello, @Andreas @AppReview! Our app (1431656423) has been stuck in 'In Review' as of December 1st. I would like to understand the reason for such a long delay and the estimated timeframe, since the latest version has fixed application crashes, which is important for users. Thank you!

Hi @Andreas @AppReview, different builds of my app is stuck in "In Review" since 16 Dec 2022, Apple ID 1422822192. It's almost a month for Users without critical fixes and new features. It will be really nice to understand reasons of such a long delay, we've also provided a lot of required info to App Review team and still didn't get any feedback on it. Can you please help and speed up this process? Thanks in advance!

1/18/2023 - I submitted a new version of a Mac OS App 19 days ago. It is still waiting for review. Yes, the App Store review system has a problem.

Hello, @Andreas @AppReview, can anyone assist with the review of app with id 1438554015 since it is still in review since 16 dec 2022 (almost 2 months!). Unbelievable!

The only response we could get from Apple Support is: "The review for your app is still in progress and requires additional time. We'll provide further status updates as soon as we can, or we'll contact you if we require additional information. We apologize for the delay."

How long it may take to review new version of the app? months? years?

It took four months, but the app was finally approved

Hi @Andreas @AppReview, my app again is stuck in "In Review", Apple ID 1422822192, because Apple Review Team have decided, that we provide access to the app on sanctioned territories (which isn't true and Users from these territories cannot download our application). We provided clarifications and even screencast from our app to make it clear for the Review Team.

Can you please highlight this issue for Apple Review Team, who are currently review the app? Because we were given 14 days to provide info and resolve it, but still don't receive any feedback from them.

We are developers of the sports category Footballant. Generally, the review will be faster within the week and slower on the weekends. Please do not submit for review during holidays. This is some of my experience and I hope it can help you.

Hi, my submission has been "waiting for review" since January 20th. My first submission was in January 7th. I was notified that something was wrong with my version number so I updated it. I haven't received an update since my second submission. This is my first time submitting to the App Store and I truly earnestly would like to do everything right. If there is anything I'm missing I'm happy to read any resources that I need to in order to make it easier. My submission ID is 0593a362-6f64-4a54-91e6-dece507ca892. My app ID is 6451201753.
