Profile Installation Failed for watchOS 5.0

Can anyone please how to unlock my Apple Watch? When trying to install the IOS Beta Software Profile for updating my watch to watchOS 5, i get a " The device is locked". Do I have to reset the watch totally or what? Thank you for your assistance in this.

My Apple was locked when I thought it wasn't.

I had this issue and found that my watch is locked and I have to unlock the watch to make it proceed
