This is one of the most disappointed thing in my life to face such kind of investigation without any timeline. Hope to share my story here so other may have some chance to think twice before any action taken. My Apple developer account is a new one, just registered on the Feb 28,2020. At first, there's already an issue that for any bundle ID I created, it cannot be used to associate with the create new app. Only 1 dummy bundle name is feasible to use, so I have decided to give a trial, as this is my first time to submit the app. Soon 1 day later I am happy to receive the news that my app is under review and need to provide the supplement information. But at the same times, I have called the Apple Support and the bundle association issue is resolved. So I have removed the old app and try to submit a new one with different bundle ID on Mar 3. Soon on Mar 4 I have received the most famous saying "Apple developer account under investigation", no timeline, no information required, just wait. WOW, I really can't imagine this would happen as such app is just a simple taxi passenger service app. I have already communicated with the Apple Support more than 10 times in dfferent way. The most "useful" reply is that they will forward to the appropriate team. But still, the appropriate team may be just too busy and you case should be under the ocean of record. The most sadest part is that when you google online, many are waiting like 6 months on this investigation. Finally you may pass without any proper explanation, very make sense. If you are also a google app developer, you will understand how's the actual difference. Our android is up and running in 2-3 days. Our iOS app is in the dark hole. I always think Apple is a caring company with so many great people and great product. But the developer ecoysystem is really really stuck. I spent a few days to resolve the apple developer account registration issue, spent a few days to resolve the payment issue, spent a few days to resolve the bunde ID issue, spent my life to get the iOS app online. Sounds funny, but this is serious. Perhaps Apple is the greatest company in history that they can do whatever they like. If this is really a caring company, please show me.
