This actually seems to happen for any "Measurement" type parameter e.g. Distance, Temp, Mass, Energy. Makes it impossible to use those parameters with widgets without causing an endless cycle of the device freezing with the spinning wheel as soon as the widget has been added to the home screen.

This is probably that they're still using macOS Monterey. This issue is only happening in Ventura Beta.

I think the particular combination that doesn’t work at the moment is macOS Ventura with the current RC builds of Xcode, so you either need to use a macOS Monterey machine, or 14.0 / 14.1 Beta Xcode.

UPDATE: Building with Xcode 16 beta fixes this, so it appears there's no way for us to fix this for existing apps until ~September.
