I have the same problem, I bought a HomePod (big) and when I updated it it does not connect me to the internet at home, I have followed all the tutorials
Update IOS on my iPhone.
Turn the Wi-Fi off and on.
I put “forget this network”.
Restart iPhone.
Turn off iPhone.
Delete and installed the Home app.
Reset network settings on my iPhone.
Update HomePod to the latest version.
Try pairing from the iPad.
Check my Wi-Fi connection.
But nothing worked, before I updated the new version on the HomePod, the music could be heard but when it asked me to update it took about 3 hours and it no longer connected to my Wi-Fi and it happened to me with 2 HomePods, I bought the first one and the same one came out problem and they changed it for another one that also has the same problem.
My wifi works great on all my devices but I don't know what's happening on my HomePod.
Now I see that the solution they say is to connect it to the laptop, but in my case I have the large HomePod and it does not have a USB port, please ask for help if there is a solution, thanks in advance
