I have a brand new 2021 iMac that I bought in March of this year (21). This has been happening to me since two months after buying this iMac. I can be running photoshop, after effects, premiere and audition and it crashes. I could be writing an email with nothing else open and it crashes. I could be scrolling thru spotify and it crashes. There is not a program or instance that causes this to crash and I've reiterated this to Apple and they still don't help. I even took it to the Apple store twice for them to do stress testing on it and they say the hardware checks out just fine, but that's clearly not the case when this happens. I even get a variety of crash reports once it finally reboots, I get the same one from time to time but most of the time it's always something different. I'm beyond frustrated and was on the phone with six different people last Friday for ~90 minutes. Even with Apple Care+ they said there's only a 14 day policy for getting a completely new system, it's total ******** and am beyond frustrated that they have hardly extended out an arm to get this NEW system replaced.
