Dear Apple Support & Engineers
The is simply unacceptable. I get 2 crashes per day!!!
I first reported this 2 months ago, after the first crash, right after the update to Big Sur 11.3 Then updated to 11.4 hoping it would fix it? Of course, it didn't.
The issue is with osX. I tried 5 different docks, my CalDigit and 4 that I borrowed from colleagues at the office (CalDigit, HP, StartTech, some no-name from Amazon & Microsoft one), all having the same problem with I connect my MacBook Pro 16 (it's less than 9 month old!!) - it crashes within 10 seconds of connecting to dock. I have to reboot it.
The crash report is different every time too? See attached samples from the past few weeks
RIDICULOUS!!

Just adding another crash report from last Friday
Crash from 2021-05-06 - https://developer.apple.com/forums/content/attachment/5511cc5a-3005-4c7a-9afb-1cfbaae5b3ce
"Glad" to hear I'm not the only one .
Symptoms Having the same issue with my 2 CalDigit USB-C Pro docks (one at home, one at work). When I move my MBP 16, 2019 between locations, my MBP crashes about 10-15 seconds after reconnecting to the dock at the new location.
Also, can happen if I power cycle my dock (not consistently thou)
Dis/Re/connecting to the same dock seems to be better (only 1 crash during my testing) (in a time period of a couple of minutes)
Causes (possible) The issues started occurring after the BigSur update 2 weeks ago to 11.3.1 from 11.3.0
Since I have 2 different docks, the only thing in common is my MBP & BigSur update, I think that was the culprit.
Attached is the latest crash report from Monday.
Solution (attempts) Tried resetting NVRAM
Tried resetting SMC
Talking to support Contacted CalDigit support - they have no suggestions, other than saying they had no other reports of this issue.
I submitted every crash report to Apple, also tried my luck on the community forums, to no avail. The suggestion there was to wipe OS and restore from backup (not sure how that would help if the problem has to do with OS update), but will attempt that next, (over the weekend) just to eliminate it as a possible solution.

P.S.:
Also getting a bit frustrated, with all the crashes.
