This continues to be a problem. Even when I set my thermostat to heat or cold mode, HomeKit thinks it’s a-ok to change that mode. I had it turning on the AC in the Winter, now it is switching to heat in the Summer. This should not be the way it operates. I’m disabling HomeKit control of my smart thermostat because it just doesn’t work correctly. Apple fix this!
