I have created a simple shortcut with two actions: Text: Hello World! Speak Text Saved the shortcut as "Hello". I have tested the shortcut on my iPhone and Mac, and it is clearly runs and I can hear Siri. Next I move to my car and wait for CarPlay to connect to my phone. I performed 3 tests: 1- Ask Siri to play the shortcut, "Hello". This works as expected and I hear Siri saying, "Hello World" 2- On my phone, I open Shortcuts and I run the Hello shortcut manually my clicking on it. It appears to be running, but cannot hear anything. I even opened the shortcut and run it again. I clearly see "Speak Text" executing, but no sound (volume on the phone and car is at maximum and phone is not on silent). 3- I created "Personal Automation" in shortcuts with "CarPlay" connects. Then added Do Run Shortcut and selected "Hello" shortcut. Ask Before Running is disabled. Finally connected my phone to car CarPlay. I do not hear anything. My iPhone is running iOS 15.6.1, and it is an iPhone 11 Pro. The car is a 2018 BMW, and I don't know how to check the CarPlay firmware. Any help would be much appreciated.
