On the App Store Connect, Apple says: iPhone and iPad Apps on Mac. All newly created and existing compatible iPhone and iPad apps will be made available on Mac.Your compatible apps will be published on the Mac App Store on Apple Silicon Macs unless you end their availability. I have some questions about that: [Question1] Can I end my iOS app availability and remove it from Mac App Store even after Apple Silicon Mac and Big Sur are released? If I make my iOS app available on Mac App Store now, and after Big Sur and Apple Silicon Mac are released, if I find my iOS app doesn't work properly on Big Sur and Apple Silicon Macs, I want to stop publishing it on Mac App Store. In case of iPad app, If you have an iPhone app, and start supporting iPad too, you will never be able to remove iPad support from the app. You have to continue to support both iPhone and iPad forever, once you support both iPhone and iPad. I'm afraid that the same rule will be applied to iOS app availability on Apple Silicon Mac. [Question 2] If my iOS app is not published on the Mac App Store, is it possible to use the iOS app on a Apple Silicon Mac by transferring the app from iPhone or in other ways? In other words, can users who already downloaded iOS apps from iOS App Store use the apps on their Apple Silicon Macs, even if the apps' developers do not make them available on Mac App Store? [Question 3] Even after Big Sur and Apple Silicon Mac are released, can I add and remove my iOS app availability on Apple Silicon Mac at any time and any number of times? What will happen to the users, when the apps availability on Apple Silicon Mac is removed after the users download the iOS app from Mac App Store. [Question 4] Do I have to make my iOS app work perfectly and properly for Apple Silicon Mac? If some functionalities of the app like in-app purchase don't work properly or the app crashes, my app will be rejected when reviewed? Or the app will be approved even if it does not work properly or crashes on Apple Silicon Macs? I have multiple iOS devices which install the last some versions of iOS to test my app, but I think it is too difficult for me to have multiple Apple Silicon Macs and multiple MacOS versions to check if my app works on Apple Silicon Macs every time I update my iOS app. Maybe should I turn off my iOS app availability on Apple Silicon Mac? [Question 5] When my iPhone app is used on Apple Silicon Mac, what size of screen is used? Is the screen resizable? Do the app have to support resizable layout? [Question 6] If universal iOS app which supports both iPhone and iPad, which device family is used on Apple Silicon Mac, iPhone or iPad?
