I thought I would give this forum a shout to see if anyone can assist. I have a user running Monterey with the latest version for Outlook 365. His mailbox behaves correctly in OWA and a Windows version of Outlook, running on a Windows box. The search feature is broken in Outlook for Mac. We have tried all the suggested remedies with no luck, reindexing mail profile and entire drive. Recreating profile with a new name other than Main Profile. Reinstalling Office 365 after completely removing it.
We can get the search feature to work very briefly after a reindex, but it does not last. It is as if it stumbles across an item that corrupts the index or crashes Spotlight.
Does anyone know which log files I can look at in Console to possibly get more information on what is going on?
And if anyone has the fix I would gladly except that as well.
