I have the exact same problem. I unboxed my new iPad today and tried to install my app on it. I updated to the latest Xcode version, reinstalled, restrated both iPad and iPhone but no success.

Is there a specific reason why features like shape recognition and copy to text are not supported in Pencilkit ? I really hope they will be added in the upcoming updates. ☹️
Btw my app is in the category productivity. You can create PDF's and write on it. It is like GoodNotes or Notability. My Pro Version has features like handwriting recogition, unique templates, insert text and images, scan documents and more.
