Boot Camp is used to install and run Windows 10 on Macs, not macOS.
Disable "Play sound on startup" in System Preferences > Sound > Sound Effects.
"Download Failed" on one Mac, downloaded and installing on a second.
I just noticed, since the download failed, Software Update now says "Updates for this mac are managed externally.". Anyone know how to fix it? My iMac Pro is not "managed".
FWIW, I just downloaded Mactracker from the App Store.
FWIW, if you enrolled in the public beta program, the public beta has not been released as yet. It will show in Software Update when it is.
Where do you see anywhere that the public beta is out?

You cannot install or run a version of macOS earlier than the one a Mac was shipped with.

Just to add, if set to blue, it turns red. If set to green, it remains green. :)
