I'm getting exactly the same error. Has something to do with bridgeOS. I've tried creating a new partition. Re-installing Catalina. Finally I just wiped the entire hard drive and did a clean install of Catalina. Same exact thing. Would love to know if someone comes up with a fix. Reboot certainly didn't do anything. I've also tried installing from a boot disk, installing in recovery mode, safe mode, internet recovery mode.
