Editing description / images in the app store should be possible without any build to submit.
Android Store does that, much simpler to update app previews, etc....

Apple Developer Forums admins can mark replies as Apple Recommended to indicate an approved solution

Would be really nice that apple evolves on this, maybe bringing more controls. But's that's very painful do submit a new app everytime our marketing team wants to A/B test how visuals impact users decisions on stores.
