I am having the same issue, i updated my iphone11 to iOS 15, then parts of my screen stopped working, i can’t close apps or type certain letters or use my phone how i should, everything was working perfectly fine until i updated to ios 15.5. why should i pay for a screen when it’s the software update that caused this problem?
