Choose Apple menu, then System Preferences, and then Spotlight.
Select the Privacy tab.
Select the + in lower left corner – this will open a window to pick that you want to add
Left side under “Locations” should be “MacBook Pro” or similar – select that
In right side of window you should see “Macintosh HD” – click on it
Select “Choose” in lower right corner
You will see an “Are you sure” - select OK
What you have just done is delete the Spotlight Search index of your drive and told Monterey not to index it
Wait a moment and then click on “Macintosh HD” to highlight
In lower left corner select the minus sign –
What you have just done is told Monterey you do want to index the drive
Depending on how much data is on the drive the index may take some time. If you want to have an idea of progress:
Command+SpaceBar
Type almost anything – even “Apple”
Below where you are typing you should see “Indexing” and a blue bar indicating the progress

Should be in upper right corner of Outlook - just to the left of the Search box? Also can choose Outlook from the Outlook menu bar and pick New Outlook from the pull down menu.
jmhalvo - most of my mailboxes are Exchange and works - except after a few hours I had mail stuck in outbox. Redid the mails in native client to get them sent and did yet another rebuild of the profile.
I deleted the profile, deleted from trash and rebuilt profile a few times with same results of no improvement. I'm on 16.57 Outlook and 12.1 Monterey. To be fair after a dy using "New Outlook" I had other issues like mail stuck in Outbox. Deleted and rebuilt profile again so will see.
