Same issue with my apple car play.
iPhone 14 pro on iOS 18
Once conected via USC on lightning sound quality is very mono. All the sudden (random) it is back to normal before it goes to mono again.
Music also stops for a second or two when locking and screen or unlocking. Very annoying.
Any updates / bug fixes on iOS 18.1 planned?
