Thank you, Kevin! Your help was invaluable in deciding whether to continue my project. Do you think this is worth petitioning for, or is it unlikely to change soon? Even allowing notifications to be movable within Notification Center would solve my issue. The current top-right position is intrusive, covering important window information. Letting users choose where notification banners appear would greatly improve user experience and align with iOS/iPadOS. Many people seem to have this issue.
