what is worst is that I accidentally install it on to my main volume and it did a Time Machine backup and broke the Time Machine bundle..... lost a lot of stuff
No, since window does have any of the underline library that supports it. It is the same reason why .net is not* available on Mac.
Still an issue in the public release...
