Same problem here, I’ve filed a feedback report as well (FB14237883), but have not heard anything back.
@Frameworks Engineer is there any workaround for this?
It’s now been a known issue for 2 years so it should be plenty of time to find the issue, fix it, or at least provide a workaround.
Thanks a lot!

Have you been able to resolve this issue?
Is there any update on this, Thomas?
Seems like a pretty serious issue, but no feedback / input from Apple so far!
Might be related to this issue, reported a couple of months ago. Still no reply / comment / workaround from apple. they dont seem to care unfortunately.

What is your start time stamp of the new activity monitor? Is it in the past? or current time? or future?
I would also be very interested if this is a bug on our side (using the API wrong) or if this is something on Apple’s side.
Seeing multiple reports on this makes me think it’s more related to an Apple bug instead of individual bugs on our ends...
I am seeing the exact same stuff, it’s very frustrating because it is super hard to debug. But glad to hear I’m not the only one.
I’ve filed a feedback report, hope that helps the screen time team to narrow this down: FB14082790
Just updated to iOS 17.5.1, the issues still persists.
Would be great to get some communication from Apple on this:
Is this expected behavior or a bug????
is there any update on this in the latest iOS update?
Hello, I am on the latest iOS 17.5 beta, still having issues with my extension.
Brace yourself for iOS 17.5 where the API becomes even more unreliable (even for apps that had been working great so far!)
The Screen Time API is so broken.
I have filed many feedback requests.
No replies.
No bug fixes.
I wonder if someone actually works on this.
Had the same issue, now I tried again and it worked with Xcode 15.0.1
I’m having the exact same scenario with the exact same problem right now.
Did you find a solution by now?
Again, this seems to be an issue:
The promo code for the following could not be generated. Try generating it again.
Just noticed that the last comment on this thread is also from me, 5 month ago.
It seemed to have fixed itself somehow, but now this issue is back!
