I have installed watchOS 7 beta today and tried to pay in the supermarket. It was saying 'hold near reader' and eventually displayed 'card unavailable'. I came back home and the card figures on the list as available. I can see that downloading public profile for beta testing is marked as 'coming soon'. I guess, I have to restore the software or be patient.
