According to Apple today in a Ask Apple Q&A, issue FB9679173 is said to be fixed in iOS16. thanks Apple, but it would have been common courtesy for Apple to reply to this forum item themselves. Developer community courtesy is low priority for them it appears.

there is nothing significantly new in reality composer, same old stale steaming pile of compost. 'features' have been broken for years.

re: do you have a crash report: I have one up now. and have a Send to Apple button, is this how you want the report of some other way?
Actually crash occurs earlier than above, just choose the .rcproject in
the Project file tree and crash occurs as the scene is being rendered in
a new Tab.
