Why is there no sample code from apple on how to do this (nothing in the code area at about minute 15...noting till minute 20)? It's a rather complex process and if you have working code, please share it. Otherwise we can be way off track and never get this working!
yes, I can do that. I dont have time to do a sample project but sysdiag is do-able in FA. anyone with a set of substantial RC projects will hit this. I hit this often and its super annoying to try to get real work done with this behavior.
ok, thanks for helping!
what part do you need. the full report is too big to copy into this text area.
how would I do that? copy report text?
Apple RealityKit dev group: thanks for the update!

J0hn,
it only effects AnchorEntity(anchor: imageAnchor). AnchorEntity(world: x)works fine, for example. But, world: is not as suitable for our application. anchor: has the desired effect of minimizing content drift in our app.
Behavior, as stated above is that no entities parented this way render in the field of view. Read my writeup above for the full description.

MikeN
Apple RealityKit dev group ask: Can you post to this topic when you have a fix ETA, please?
Thanks, Apple, for the fast feedback. Helps me stay sane:)
I just restarted xcode 13.2.1, no change in ios deployment target drop-down, still only showing 15.2 as latest. Then powered off the ipad with 15.3Beta, powered off the mac, then power on both devices, start xcode, clean build folder, drop-down still shows 15.2 as latest, then build and same issue. Devices & Simulators status has no issues.
Is there a way to re-trigger the download of necessary files from the device?
that is what I needed, thank you!
Unfortunately I don't have time to drive into root cause on this. I am going to just revert to 14.8 due to my product delivery timeline. I will file a bug in FA.
re: FB9643162: sample project uploaded successfully to reproduce error.
re: FB9643162: ok. project uploaded that reproduces the error. please check on your side to make sure the project is intact. appears to be.
