What the heck is going on in here?
Here are a series of events: (ever happened with you?) 1. ~In October, I enroll for the Apple Developer program. 2. ~In November end, my enrollment was approved. 3. ~In December, I noticed I was not able to pay for the apple developer account post approval. The UI showed no ways to pay except cards. (Tried all my Irish bank cards, my India bank cards - none worked. Nor was any option to pay via Apple Pay - even if the payment doc says you can do that) 4. After a series of talks (calls+mails) with the Apple Developer Support teams, it was concluded I should keep my country setting to India, which I did. 5. Things started to fall in place, I was able to add funds using my Net-Banking to my Apple ID (as asked my the support reps in one of the calls) 6. One day, I had a call with the support team - the conclusion of that day was : I must enter my banking details correctly, add funds to my Apple ID and pay for the enrollment. 7. After being able to add funds to my Apple ID, I see the state on my developer account has changed again - It took me back to the "Enroll Now" option, I applied again and just like always the representative approved the request in minutes this times - just like how it was done 2-3 times previously as the support teams were helping me solve the issue. **8. ** After exactly 24 hours later, I get on call with the same support staff - Letting her know the funds are added to my Apple ID and need her help to use those funds and get through the payment. 9 Here is what happened instead - She asked if my Apple ID was used to enroll from another device, I said no, then she says it seems like your ID is used to enroll from another Apple device. Note- that all of this was happening when she had approved my new request a few minutes back based on the troubleshooting we did 24 hours ago. But now, I am instead banned from enrolling to the platform and the funds are stuck in my Apple ID and I have nothing to do with them. What I don't understand is: How is that for the same Apple ID, the state of user is different even if the user has multiple devices? (2 in my case phone and MacBook Air) , ideally the Developer app must show the same state isn't it? How is that even if the developer documentation says, that the given payment modes are available they were never visible in the first place? On what grounds was I banned from re-applying when the support staffs are aware of the case in detail? - no proof was given to me nor more understanding was taken.
