Same issue here.fully loaded 18 core iMac Pro running Catalina 10.15.7. when trying to upgrade to Mac OS Big Sur RC2.
at the 12min mark the installer errors out stating
"An error occurred installing macOS. You can try again to complete the installation".
How exactly are they releasing this tomorrow?
