Same here - Apple watch 3, iphone 11 - same error message. unable to check for update - you are not connected to internet. I tried changing the location and language - did nothing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled app on phone - nothing . Very frustrated. It was literally working fine and i tried to update my watch. Now my watch is completely useless. Please someone fix this for us ;(
