Macbook Pro-M1 is able to connect to the TV via Screen Mirroring but once the connection is established, the screen does not display my mac. My MBP never displays anything on the TV even though it appears to be connected. If I choose to extend the desktop, I can time the mouse off screen which indicates that the MBP thinks it is casting to the TV. Using a Macbook Pro-M1 running MacOS 11.1 and trying to use screen mirroring to a Samsung TV with ScreenBeam enabled. Based on all the other comments, it definitely seems to be an issue on the Mac side, whether it's OS (Big Sur) or hardware (M1 Chip). This is a big issue for me as it impacts my work. If it can't be fixed soon, I will have to return my new Mac.
