Same problem, i boot on a external drive with all my music set up (worked perfectly like that with my previous macbook since years)
I just bought a M1 and do the same set up on external SSD, all my Vst's works but not my UAD apollo twin
They said on UAD site to change "security policy" from startup security, but impossible to change on the external bootable drive....
That mean i can't use my UAD.... Very boring !
