Issue is not with shortcuts, but with the whole keyboard not being recognised.
I have already tried to "Optimise for games" as it seemed to have worked for some people, but it didn't for me.

Just managed to install Big Sur. Trying to understand why the resolution of the VM is locked to 1024x768 (I am on a 2016 MacBook Pro).
Is there some settings in the VM that I should be aware of?
