Update 3 Won't Update

Hi -


I recently installed El Capitan, and it installed correctly and updated to preview 2 successfully.


Now int he app store I see the update for Developer Preview 3 1.0. Update All and Update are there. If I click on Update All, it grays out for a bit and then comes back, no update is performed.


If I click 'update' nothing happens, and no update is installed.


I've restarted, logged out/back in the App Store with my developer ID, still not updating.


I searched and can't see any similar actions, I see 'nothing is there' but not 'stuff is there but won't install'.

You may need to copy-paste the following command in Terminal to fix what seems to be a fairly common calalog problem:


sudo softwareupdate --set-catalog https://swscan.apple.com/content/catalogs/others/index-10.11seed-10.11-10.10-10.9-mountainlion-lion-snowleopard-leopard.merged-1.sucatalog.gz


Restart and try refreshing updates in the App Store again.

Thanks, apparently the cmd addresses a 'won't download' issue as well as 'can't see'.
