Why hasn't Apple integrated PassBook and Wallet support better into OS X?

I could never understand why Apple was so quick to add Wallet and PassBook to iOS devices, but never quite figured out why they weren't as quick to make OS X much more Wallet friendly.

By now, OS X should have a Wallet app where all PassBook entries are synchronzied via iCloud.


Am I alone on this?

That's shame indeed, but the reasoning must be that most Wallet content are consumed while in mobility (retail stores, airports, music venues, etc), thus not much use to have them available on your computer.
