tvOS 11.2 "Match Framerate"

Hi :-)


First of all, the "Match Framerate" option in tvOS 11.2 is really cool!!!! :-)


But I see there is one little issue with it:

"Match Framerate" is enabled globally for ALL tvOS Apps...


But the problem is, there are some older Apps (which get no Update since a long time), so these Apps don't get optimized for this new Feature!!!

The result is => The "Switching" happens often, also if there is no need... We see often flickers from TV etc...


Apple should make a customziable List for choosing which Apps have this "Match Framerate"-Feature enabled but NOT globally enable this ;-)

I ended up disabling frame rate switching. I have a 4k projector and i lose video in many apps and have to reboot the Atv 4k. Disabling it has fixed that and the audio sync issue I was having. I will enable it when I am going to watch a movie. It is so annoying

I would suggest you do a bug report to reach someone directly at Apple.

I have send several Bug-Reports and Feedback to Apple, but there is no respond... :-(


But this feature is really unusable now, because nearly NO App is prepared for this new feature and the GUI flickers and the Playback is really slow if the Feature is globally enabled...
