Launch screen on iPhone X

How do I get a background image to fill the screen in my launch screen on an iPhone X?


I have aligned the image to the top and bottom layout guides, but this leaves large white gaps.

What is the name and the H x W of the image you're attempting to use?

i've had problems using the default launchscreen that gets initiated with a project.


1 delete it

2 create a new one from the xcode, File-> new, launchscreen

3 constrain view with aspect fill

4 constrain labels, images, text, etc, align to superview, centerx, centery, etc

bam, done, game over
