10.13 beta 6 Touch ID disappear

Ditto, mine is doing the same.

Same problem continuing across all recent MacOS beta versions. My macbook has local admin and guest user accounts - Touch ID works on those, but on my personal user profile I cannot get the preferences pane to show Touch ID for set up.

Mine shows touch id in preferences but will not let me register any prints.

same here.... I can see the prefs but TouchID cann‘t be found... no registration possible...

solved - I did a NVRAM-Reset - TouchID went back to work! 🙂
