XCODE --> Window --> Devices: App installation failed. There was an internal API error.

I have an "ipa" file, but when I go to... XCODE --> Window --> Devices, I get a window saying... "App installation failed. There was an internal API error.".

Sometimes I get a window saying... "App installation failed. A valid provisioning profile for this executable was not found.".

What is wrong?

@RSokoloski Have u found the solution ? I m getting the same alert ("There was an internal api error") for a project in a workspace which shares files from another project.
