On My Mac Mailbox folders missing

After I upgraded my iMac to macOS Sierra from El Capitan, I've lost all my email folders under "On My Mac". I used to use those folders to copy emails I wanted to keep locally for future reference. I'm sure the folders are still somewhere on the iMac. How do I find them? How to I associate them back with mail? Thanks!!!

I was able to finally find my mail. It was under the Library/Mail/V2/Mailboxes. I needed to import them back into mail after the upgrade to macOS Sierra.

Tried that, but importing didn't work for me and even when I found the right folder (V4) to put them in they still wouldn't show up. I eventually managed to solve it with the help of this treath:
